UQ Production Animal Medicine SIG (PAMS) provides students with opportunities to further their education and understanding of livestock.
Throughout the year we organise events including practical days, guest speakers and the occasional field trip. Our highlight each year is Rural Prac day where some of the best cattle veterinarians volunteer their time and skills to educate students on routine procedures performed in the field and better prepare them for graduation.

Rural Prac Day
This is a yearly tradition that is run as an introductory event for new members! We gather and put on a documentary that highlights the importance of marine conservation and recent developments in the marine science world. Free food included!
